As I was playing golf growing up, I always heard people telling me, “Don’t bulk up, don’t get too muscly, you won’t be able to swing the golf club properly”. Too muscle-bound, is the phrase they used. I never questioned it too much, as none of the other golfers around me did much strength exercises.
